4 Garage Updates Ideal for Organization and Saving Space
Garages in our home often become a dumping ground for supplies, outdoor toys, and items we do not want to leave outside or store in the house. Over time, items may easily pile up and create a lot of clutter in the garage.

1. Doorless Lockers
Much like you see open lockers in the locker room of a professional sports team, your garage may be fitted with the same design. A set of open lockers gives each person in the home their own personal garage space.
The open locker may used to hold individual items like work shoes, snow gear, or specific items like roller blades, roller skates, or ice skates. Any time you need to look and find a specific item, your own locker will be the first place to look.

2. Mesh Fabric Baskets

3. Wall Cabinets
Some things in a garage you don’t need to use or see on a daily basis. Also, in a home with children, you may have some items you don’t want them to access. To help with these items, consider installing high wall cabinets.
The higher cabinets still leave enough room for a car to park, and they provide the safety of holding items at a higher location. For example, you may have some wasp and hornet spray you keep in the cabinet. Other sprays or cleaners like a rust and metal lubricant may also be kept in the cabinet.
Dangerous tools like drills or saws could be kept out of sight in the cabinet. You also have the option of installing cabinet doors with built-in locks. The extra security ensures your garage is safe for all ages.
4. Open Racks
One of the easiest and convenient upgrades for the interior of a garage is an open rack system. A multitude of items can may be placed on an open rack. The racks come in multiple sizes and you can anchor the installation to the wall to support high-weight items.
Some examples of items you can keep on open racks include storage bins, camping supplies, and large balls. The back wall of a garage is an ideal area for these racks.
You also have the option to mix and match the various garage upgrades you install. For example, you may have the left and right side of the back garage wall feature racks while the middle section has multiple lockers for more organization.
