The long vertical space has plenty of room to hold baseball bats, hockey sticks, and other outdoor items. Built-in hooks allows kids to hang up jackets, hats, and other outdoor items. Locker features may include cubby holes, small cabinet doors, and places to put shoes.

The hooks used on pegboards can also hold miscellaneous items like rolls of tape, including duct tape, masking tape, and electrical tape.

Snack Bar
When children spend a lot of time playing outdoors, they often will come inside a house for snacks and drinks. As an alternative to children constantly coming in and out of the house, consider the installation of a snack bar for the garage. A snack bar would consist of a mini-fridge, baskets for snacks, and disposable items like paper cups and plastic forks.
Stock a mini-fridge with drink options and offer quick snacks. You may also want to place a small trash can near the snack bar so the area stays clean and organized. Children will have easy access to snacks and you can also limit what snacks are available for each day. For example, you may offer healthy fruit options at the snack bar.
